MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a MECHANICAL Engineer to join our Team!

​

The Mechanical Engineer will be a professional, team-oriented, positive person that takes initiative, is dependable and takes pride their work.

​

The Primary function is to work with general supervision and direction on HVAC Systems’ design for Educational, Healthcare, Aviation and Commercial Projects.

​

Duties & Responsibilities:

​

  • Develop and create engineering construction documents, and the design and specification of HVAC Systems

  • Assist in the development of new standards and specifications for the Mechanical Team

  • Work on multiple projects, meet project budgets and schedules

​

Qualifications & Experience:

​

  • Minimum +5 years of experience

  • Working knowledge of Florida, Mechanical, Energy and Plumbing Building Codes, ASHRAE Standards, ANSI, NFPA and other building codes.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.

  • Conduct quality control on projects and check the work of others for accuracy and completeness.

  • Must have strong design skills using AutoCad, REVIT and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Trane Trace & Newforma

  • Good communications skills

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM 360.

Education:

​

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, EIT and / or PE preferred

  • Working towards licensure

  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred

​
